My Gumpy (Grandfather) just gave me my dream camera. It was the camera I fell in love with when we learnt about it in class, and, oh my god. Right. I did a photography project on their dinning room, which is stunning with walnut tables and cabinet with a their glass chess set for my class. So, as I went round to do a re-shoot and to get the final image, I was explaining the camera I borrowed from the college photography department to my Gumpy as I was going along, and he mentioned he had an old camera, and I thought it was like one of the old old film cameras that you know, arn't that special. So I was like "oh, cool, whats it like?" and when he poddled off to get it, I carried on. About 20 minutes later, he comes back in with my favorite model of camera, ever. He has a Pentax film camera, that he bought in 1997, (he still had the receipt!) just in his cupboard. So, I obviously, put my camera down and start to look it over, and it legit is the make and model of the one I first learned to love B&W photography on and then he says, I've got some extra parts as well. He had 3 lenses, a flash light gun with filters and a bag and case. I looked up and said "I'll buy it off you, how much?" And he said "Nothing, if you want it, its yours." Its about 2 hours later, and I'm still… I- I love my Nanny and Gumpy very, very much.
